History

By the start of the 17th century, Explorers from Europe start visiting the various parts of Canada. Moreover, The French people named the explored region as New French, which was later changed into Canada. The name Canada means a village which is from the language of St. Lawrence Iroquoian.


Many acts and bills were formed, so a person independently follows a religion or culture. Quebec Act and First Official Languages Act are a few notable acts. The primary theme of the nationalist is to promote loyalty and self-governing authority within the people.


Canadian Government promotes multiculturism, which is very notable in the world. Moreover, the country has an excellent open policy for immigrants and accepts immigrants all over the world. The aim to protect every single culture and to avoid the single national myth.


Main symbols used by the Canadian people are the beaver, maple leaf, and horse. The flag of Canada is redesigned from the UK symbols. Few other notable symbols are the Canadian Goose, lacrosse, the Canadian Rockies and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police
